Northwest Adaptive Play was founded by Zac Small, a National Board Certified Teacher of the Visually Impaired, Certified Orientation & Mobility Specialist, and Assistive Technology provider for the Mount Vernon School District. With nearly 20 years of experience supporting students with disabilities, Zac has dedicated his career to helping individuals access learning, play, and their communities more independently.
Through Northwest Adaptive Play, Zac combines his professional experience with a passion for adaptive technology to create affordable, switch-accessible toys and activities. His goal is to help schools and families access engaging adaptive resources without the high costs often associated with specialized equipment, making play, learning, and participation more accessible for everyone.
